The Division of Experimental Virology at the Institute of Virology, University of Zurich, includes the group leader (Prof. Dr. Cornel Fraefel) 4 PhD students (Daniel Glauser, Anna Paula de Oliveira, Andrea Laimbacher, and Regina Strasser), one Masters Student (Michael Seyffert) and one laboratory tech-nician (Irma Heid).
Our fields of interest include molecular and applied virology, in particular related to herpes simplex virus type 1, adeno-associated virus, and rotaviruses.
 
Role in the project
Coordinating the WP1 on Vectors construction.
OBJECTIVES
Design and analysis of vectors for delivery of rotavirus antigens. Transfer of knowledge and technology to the other partners.
